Neha Srinivasan

Neha is a rising high school senior at Dupont Manual High School, Louisville KY, in the Math, Science and Technology program. Neha started her Bharatnatyam education when she was 4y old under Smt. Kalpa Raman followed by Smt. Akila Iyer. In 2007, Guru Smt. Vasundhara Doraswamy took Neha under her wing to train Neha in the Pandanallur style of Bharatnatyam and Neha presented her Rangapravesham in 2011. Neha enjoys performing all forms of dance including semi-classical, folk, Bollywood and Western Contemporary.

Neha is the State Vice President for the Spanish Honor Society, Senior Class President at Dupont Manual and plays lacrosse for her school. In her spare time, Neha volunteers at the Volunteers of America and has helped with the Crane House and Beaded Treasures Project. Neha is a recipient of the prestigious KY Governor’s Scholars Program (GSP). She considers a blessing to perform with her Guru, Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy and thanks her guru, family and friends for supporting her through these years in learning and spreading this ancient art form of Bharatnatyam.
