Premita Ramesh

Premita is an aspiring Engineer from Mysore, who fell in love with Bharatnatyam when she was four and has been since then under the tutelage of Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy - a Danseuse par excellence and a venerated guru of Bharatanatyam. Premita's complete involvement in her dances brings a special intensity to every performance.

Under the guidance Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy she has performed in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka – Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, Vettakkoru Makan Temple, Kannur, Sri Ranagamudi Sevai at Sri Rangapatna, Mysore, Mysore Dasara, Bengaluru Sangeeth Utsav ...etc.

Her commitment to fine arts and dance is so intense that she recently opened Kalandika Kala Pratishthana Samsthe - an arts academy - at Mysore providing training in Music and Dance.
